INDEX / PRIVACY
Almost nothing.
This site runs no analytics, sets no cookies, and loads nothing from a third-party server except the fonts, which are self-hosted. The two places where this site touches your data are the contact form and the batch reservation form, and this page says exactly what happens in each.

Analytics
We do not know how many people visited this page, where they came from, or how long they stayed. The web team survives on email and the batch sheet, and the batch sheet is generated at the bench.

No cookies are set, so there is no banner to click through. The only storage this site uses is your browser's local setting for the light reading mode, which never leaves your device.

No third-party scripts, no embedded fonts, no social pixels. The heaviest thing this site loads is the oscilloscope canvas you are drawing on, and it runs on your device, for you.
Contact form
Four fields: name, email, subject, message. The message goes to the studio address you picked and is read by the person who answers that address. We keep correspondence while a matter is open and for the warranty life of any instrument involved, because the service history is part of the instrument.
Nothing from the form is used for marketing, because the marketing, such as it is, is the changelog.
Batch reservation form
One field beyond the contact form: the module and variant you want held. The reservation list is a spreadsheet at the Berlin studio, and when the batch opens, the list becomes a shipping list. We hold no payment at reservation; the card moment happens at the shop that fulfills you, not here.
If a batch closes before your reservation is reached, you get one email saying so and the option to move to the next batch. Silence is not a strategy we use on you.
Write to the privacy@ address and ask what we hold: the answer is your correspondence and, if you own an instrument, its serial, its batch, its service history, and its calibration certificates. Ask for deletion and correspondence goes; the service history stays with the serial because the next owner's warranty depends on it, and we will tell you that plainly rather than pretend otherwise. Ask for a copy and you get a plain-text export, not a portal.
