The warranty, in plain language.
This page is the warranty. There is no longer PDF with different terms waiting to surprise you, and there never has been. Five years, transferable with the serial number, three exclusions, and free recalibration for as long as the company exists.
- Any defect in materials or workmanship for five years from first retail sale.
- Jacks that fail inside their 10,000-cycle rating, however you count the cycles.
- Drift that exceeds the printed tolerance for your batch, at any point in the warranty period.
- Power input damage when the module is used with a compliant supply within the printed ratings.
- Panels: corrosion, etching failure, and knob carrier wear for the full term.
- Shipping to and from either studio for warranty service, both directions, worldwide.

EXCLUSION 01
Deliberate abuse
Physical damage that did not come from the module being a module: drops, crushes, liquids, or the blowtorch you read about in the lab note. Heat damage from the module's own designed thermal stage is, obviously, covered.
EXCLUSION 02
Out-of-spec power
A supply outside the printed ratings, reversed headers defeated by force, or cases with known bus-board faults. The reverse-polarity protection usually saves the module anyway; when it does, the repair is on us and we say so.
EXCLUSION 03
Modifications
Circuit modifications are your right and we publish everything needed to do them well. What the warranty loses is coverage for the subsystem modified and anything downstream of it that fails as a result. Unmodified sections keep their coverage.
The module goes back to its birth bench.
Every warranty repair happens at the studio that built your batch, on the same bench and the same measurement rig. You get a note from the person who serviced it, the measurement deltas they found, and a fresh certificate when the unit comes home. The median turnaround is one day at the bench; the median total round trip is eight days including shipping.
Community-built firmware is respected at the bench. We service the hardware around it, reflash factory firmware only with your permission, and return the unit with your build intact wherever the fault is not in it.
